Nominated Senator Victor Prengei has died.

Prengei died in a grisly road accident on Monday evening at the Gioto area, Nakuru County.

Nakuru County police boss Beatrice Kiraguri has confirmed the sudden death.  

Kiraguri said the accident happened when the senator was heading towards Kabarak from Nakuru town. 

The lawmaker is reported to have been rushed to Nakuru Level 5 Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while he was receiving treatment.
