The burial of alleged cop-killer Caroline Kangogo was postponed indefinitely on Saturday as confusion reigned.
Kangogo’s family had planned to bury her on Saturday at her home in Nyawa village, Tambach Division, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
However, a postmortem was yet to be conducted by that time because Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor was unable to get to Iten County Referral Hospital in time.
Oduor said he was notified about the burial late and could not make it and informed Kangogo’s family that the postmortem will be conducted on Tuesday.
Her father Barnaba Kibor could not mask his disappointment after failing to access his daughter’s body for burial and burst into tears as he was overcome by emotion.
