The former president for the US Donald Trump has filed 3 separate lawsuits against Twitter, Facebook and YouTube in a Florida federal court.
Also sued are the chief executives of the companies; Jack Dorsey of Twitter Inc., Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook Inc. and Sundar Pichai of Google.
The 3 class-action lawsuits seek to have court orders to restore Trumps social media accounts.
The suits also seek punitive damages to ensure the giant tech companies cannot ban or flag users who violate their policies.
Trumps ban from the major social media platforms came following the riots that took place at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Twitter gave him a permanent ban, Facebook suspended Trump from all its networks for at least 2 years after it deems the risk to public safety has subsided while YouTube froze his account, restricting him from posting any videos until google decides the risk of violence has decreased.
The three tech giants however declined to issue statements on Trump’s suits.
