Officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) based in Nyeri County have arrested a father who engaged three hitmen to kill his son at Mweiga area following a family dispute.

The father and his son are reported to have fallen out and had had a long dispute leading to the reported hiring of the hitmen by Wagongu to eliminate Kagondu.
Police say they arrested the three suspects last weekend and they reportedly confessed that Wagondu had paid them Sh160,000 to commit the heinous crime.
