A police officer who is attached to the Kaakong' Police Station in Turkana South, Turkana County has been arrested after killing a teacher by shooting her six times in the head. 

The Kaputir Secondary School teachers is reported to have been running a bar in the area and was shot by the policeman following a row over a liquor debt the officer owed the woman.

The police officer is reported to have left the woman who was demanding her dues and returned with a loaded firearm and shot her six times killing her on the spot.

The cop was later disarmed and detained at the Kaakong' Police Station as an investigation is launched into the gruesome killing.

The unnamed police office is expected to be arraigned once the probe is concluded.
