The Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has told off a section of people who have been peddling rumours about his defection from the Raila Odinga-led Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition to William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

Kalonzo was addressing a question by a journalist who asked him to comment on the rumours that already there are emissaries from Ruto’s camp and he may join the faction soon.

He dismissed those individuals peddling those rumours as wishful thinkers as the coalition was clear on the path is taking.

“Those saying that I’m joining Kenya Kwanza are wishful thinkers. We are going to pursue them at the Supreme Court,” Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo had joined Azimio coalition leaders led by Raila, his deputy Martha Karua and other Christian hopefuls for a Sunday Service at Jesus Teaching Ministry in Donholm, Embakasi East, Nairobi.

Kalonzo had earlier said the election was not yet over.

"This general election is not over. I have vied many times but never seen a situation where the electoral body ends up shortchanging the whole country,” he said.
