Police in Kaimosi, Nandi County are on a serious manhunt for a 17-year-old suspect who killed his 31-year-old cousin over a mobile phone charger.

The incident happened on Sunday evening when an argument ensued between the two kin over whose phone should charge first.

It seems matters escalated and the young man reached for an arrow and drove it through the victim who has been identified as Josphat Kibet’s left side of the chest, before fleeing the scene.

Kibet was rushed to Kapsabet County and Referral Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival after succumbing to the injury.

Police immediately launched a manhunt for the suspect and are hoping to bring him to book soon.
