Fox TV host Emily Rose Compagno is the latest person on the receiving end of the wrath of Kenyans On Twitter (KOT).

This comes after Compagno blatantly gave misleading information about the voting situation in Kenya.

The TV host, while speaking during the ‘Outnumbered’ show she co-hosts, claimed that pregnant women in Kenya may not leave the house to vote.

Compagno was trying to argue that American citizens should desist from complaining about their limited voting rights because in some parts of the world there are groups of people who are not allowed to vote.

“The insularity of these celebrities is so asinine… it’s so nauseating because these comments are totally delusional, that we have less voting rights here,” Compagno said.

“What about in Kenya, where pregnant women can’t leave the house so they absolutely have no constructive right to vote, or in Oman, where women have to vote as their husbands do or risk death?”

KOT were not about to take Compagno’s ludicrous and ill-informed remarks lying down and they took to their social media accounts to express their contempt for the same.

A large section of KOT demanded an apology from Fox TV and Compagno as they wondered about the kind of information Compagno was sharing and how freely Fox TV accepted it.

Here are some reactions Compagno’s remarks elicited from KOT including some notable leaders:
