The Kenya Kwanza Alliance presidential running mate Rigathi Gachagua is in the spotlight yet again after using some unprintable words to attack the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition presidential running mate Martha Karua during a church service in Meru County on Sunday.

Rigathi was defending his principal William Ruto from what he claimed were attacks on Ruto by Karua before a congregation at St Thomas the Apostle- Patron Saint of Athi Catholic Parish in Igembe South.

He was reacting to Karua’s remarks in which she said any leader who threatens an individual be it the president or any other person is not worth being elected as a leader.

In response to Karua, Gachagua told Karua to stop lecturing Ruto because she had no authority to and was not in Ruto’s league.

"You have no moral authority to lecture DP Ruto about President Uhuru," Gachagua said.

Gachagua told the congregation that Karua was the person least suited to lecture Ruto because she walked out on Kibaki.

"When Mwai Kibaki got in trouble with Raila Odinga, Martha Karua walked out on Mwai Kibaki. She showed him the middle finger and left the government," he said.

He also accused Karua of always going against the political grains, away from the people of the Mt Kenya region.

Gachagua’s remarks elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans and here are some of their reactions:
