The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga has asked the Kenya Kwanza Alliance opponent William Ruto to desist from calling him names and instead prepare for a gruelling mano-a-mano in the August general election.

Raila was speaking during a political rally held at Agoro Sare High School in Homa Bay County on Sunday where he said he was focused on winning the presidency and expressed his confidence in the same.

The politician condemned the Deputy President for applying derogatory language against him during campaigns and told him to bring it on because he would trounce him.

"He keeps calling me a witch doctor and the riddles fellow. What he needs to understand is the country is ready for change," Raila said.

Ruto and his allies have frequently referred to Raila as the witch doctor, old man or old man of riddles during their campaigns or outbursts.
