The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has revealed the faces of the suspects behind the recent spate of killings in Nakuru's Mawanga area.


This comes after the detectives completed the necessary forensic examination of the 6 members of the criminal outfit responsible for the heinous and senseless killings reported in Nakuru North.


Their arrest followed a spirited manhunt by a team comprising detectives from the Crime Research & Intelligence Bureau and Special Services Unit executed the stealth operation that nabbed the key suspect identified as Evans Michori Kebwaro.


Once Kebware was arrested, he revealed five names of his accomplices including Julius Otieno, 27, Josphat Simiyu, 24, Dennis Mmbolo 25, Isaac Kinyanjui, 18 and Makhoha Wanjala, 25.


All of them have been since rounded up when detectives raided a house in Kivumbani are in Nakuru at around 3 am caught them unawares.


The detectives ambushed the suspects’ hideous in the most unexpected manner. They bombarded the criminals from all quarters, including the door, window and even the aerial approach was used as they also came in through the roof simultaneously.


The police ambush left the criminals with no other alternative than to surrender.

All the criminals were processed and are in police custody waiting for their arraignment in court.
