The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition presidential running mate Martha Karua has the Thursday tear gas incident will not intimidate her into cowering from spreading the Azimio message to Kenyans.

Karua said that while addressing members of the public at Ekerenyo in Nyamira County on Friday at an Azimio political rally.

“Yesterday you heard what happened at the Gusii Stadium. Let them know we are unshakable. That is why I am here today,” Karua said.

Karua said the Thursday meeting was not only for women but also included the youth as she emphasised that the Azimio coalition was an all-accommodative outfit where every Kenyan including men, women, youth, children and people living with disabilities are accommodated.

She also said their coalition shuns any form of violence and asks for Kenyans’ votes peacefully because of their peaceful nature.

“The Azimio coalition is peaceful and therefore we are seeking your votes peacefully without intending to cause chaos,” Karua said.

Karua urged the people of Nyamira to vote for the Azimio coalition in the August general election.
