The Deputy Wiper party leader Farah Maalim has assured Kenyans his party is firmly in Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition.

Maalim offered the assurance during his endorsement to run for the Daadab parliamentary seat by the Afghab sub-clan of the Aulihan community at a Garissa hotel on Saturday.

He revealed there are serious ongoing talks among President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka that seek to iron out some issues.

Maalim expressed his confidence in the leaders resolving the contentious issues and that they will walk the journey to the August election and beyond together.

“The three of them will find a way around the sticky issues. I want to believe that that has already been resolved. Kenyans should rest easy knowing that we will walk this journey together,” Maalim said.

Maalim also disclosed that the Wiper party is negotiating a unique deal and they are almost making a major announcement.

Last week, Kalonzo hinted he would make a major announcement on Monday.
