A man was arrested by Nakuru police at a place called Solai for attacking a police officer with a stone and leaving him with a dislodged left shoulder.

The incident happened when the officer identified as Eliud Misiko was walking back to the station after having lunch at his house.

With no form of provocation, the suspect identified as Dennis Kibet launched the projectile that landed squarely on its intended target, sending Misiko sprawling to the ground.

Misiko raised an alarm for help and Kibet who seemed not to care about his precarious situation was apprehended.

When Kibet was probed to understand his motive for such an unwarranted action, he explained that he just wanted to know how it feels to throw stones at a police officer.

One officer quickly concluded that Kibet must have used some illegal, smokable and potent substance namely bhang.

A quick frisk on the suspect confirmed the officer’s suspicion as police removed 10 rolls of bhang carefully hidden in his private regions.

Kibet is currently a ‘state guest’ where he is waiting to be arraigned in court to face two charges; assaulting a police officer and being in possession of bhang.
