Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka vows to work to ensure Deputy President William Ruto loses in the August poll as he renewed campaigns for Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition party.

Kalonzo spoke on Thursday in Mlolongo at the onset of his Mombasa Road vigorous campaigns to rally support for Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition flagbearer Raila Odinga.

During the public rally, Kalonzo denounced links to UDA criticising Ruto and his allies for expressing their support for him to be chosen as Raila’s running mate in the coming election.

“I have heard some people saying that its members of UDA who are defending Kalonzo…I do not want UDA to defend me. I want to bring UDA down. I do not have any association with UDA at all. I am a man of my word. I want to bring Ruto down and his team. So that Kenyans can see the way forward,” Kalonzo said.

He added it was clear that if he worked together with Raila, then they will triumph over their opponents.

“Those people know that if Kalonzo and Raila work together, they will certainly go home and that is what they want to block…and that will not be possible,” Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo embarked on a vigorous campaign trail that will see him and his team make several stopovers along the busy Nairobi-Mombasa highway to popularise Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition and its presidential candidate Raila.
