Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition has appointed a seven-member panel which has been tasked with helping it pick the running mate for its presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
The appointment of the seven comes days after the Azimio One Kenya Coalition Council Chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta and coalition leader Raila Odinga on Thursday.
Those appointed to the panel are Archbishop Zacchaeus Okoth, Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua, former minister Noah Wekesa, Bishop Peter Njenga, Sheikh Mohamed Khalifa Michael Orwa and Beatrice Askul Mose, while Elizabeth Meo will serve as Secretary.
The panel is expected to submit the name of Raila’s running mate in the August 9 presidential election mate on May 10.
