The party leader for the Thirdway Alliance Ekuru Aukot has officially declared his 2022 presidential bid.

Aukot launched his presidential bid on Thursday at Ufungamano House in Nairobi.

According to Aukot, he was supposed to have a town hall kind of meeting with members of the public where he would answer their questions after launching his presidential bid.

This is the second stab Aukot is having at the presidency after first trying in the 2017 general election but his bid was unsuccessful.

Aukot who is a lawyer by profession is known for sponsoring a Bill to amend the Kenyan Constitution known as Punguza Mzigo Bill.
