Lamu West parliamentary aspirant Abdirashid Mwaura has been arrested.
Mwaura was arrested on Friday for interrupting Deputy President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza rally in Hindi.
Before his arrest, Mwaura had an altercation with the police officers as he was resisting arrest.
Ruto is in Lamu County to share his bottom-up vision with the residents of the area.
He was accompanied by his colleagues in Kenya Kwanza such as Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula, Aisha Jumwa, Kithure Kindiki, Ndindi Nyoro, Kimani Ichung’wa among others.
