The leader of Abagusii Community in the United States Ombori Monari alias Cosmo Choy has issued a public apology to family of President Uhuru Kenyatta following the verbal tirade he unleashed against Mama Ngina Kenyatta.

Choy took to his social media handles to issue the apology claiming he was overtaken by anger when he made the unsavoury remarks against Mama Ngina.

“I am here to apologise to the Kenyatta Family, Mama Ngina Kenyatta and President Uhuru Kenyatta. I am sorry for the remarks that I made a few days ago. I didn’t mean it. Mama got into politics and spoke about Ruto and you know I love Ruto but politics is dirty,” Choy said.

In his defense, Choy claimed he was defending Deputy President William Ruto after Mama Ngina spoke about him.

Choy further revealed that he lost his mum and knew the value of having one alive. He also acknowledged human beings are prone to making mistakes but preferred forgiveness as a way to move forward as he apologized profusely.

“I do apologise. Apologies to the family, apologies to mum you are our mum. It is something sweet to have a mum alive, I lost my mum and I will never see her again so I am really sorry. We are human beings and we make mistakes and we forgive each other,” he added.

Choy became popular after recording and releasing videos full of political slurs over his social media over the past few years.

He is an ardent follower of Ruto and is expecting to vie for the Embakasi East parliamentary seat in the August elections.

Choy will face it off with the incumbent Member of Parliament Paul Ongili popularly known as Babu Owino.
