The African Union High Representative for Infrastructure Development Raila Odinga is scheduled to fly out of the country to the United Kingdom (UK) on Monday next week.

According to sources, Raila’s departure will come just two days after being unveiled as the Azimio la Umoja presidential flag bearer.

“Baba will leave for the UK on March 14, for five days after naming of the presidential candidate,” said the source.

During his five-day stay in the UK, Raila is expected to hold a series of high-level meetings with the Commonwealth Secretariat between March 15, 2022, and March 16, 2022.

Raila is also scheduled to meet top British business executives during the same tour.

The African Union High Representative will also hold a meeting with Kenyans living in the UK.

Raila’s trip comes at the end of Deputy President William Ruto’s visit to the UK.
