A domestic brawl ended tragically after a woman allegedly bludgeoned her husband to death at their home in Tayari Village, Molo Sub-county, before taking off.

Molo-based detectives have launched a manhunt for the 35-year-old woman identified as Susan Nyambura.

According to reports from preliminary investigations, the brawl ensued after the 53-year-old deceased identified as Frederick Gichini came back home drunk.

Nyambura is suspected to have committed the crime after an argument and fled the scene in the cover of darkness with two of their three children.

Detectives who visited the homestead found the lifeless body of Gichini bearing injuries on the head and blood oozing from his mouth.

The detectives also recovered three pieces of wood believed to be the murders weapons at the scene.

Police have said they are following crucial leads that may help bring Nyambura to book
