Police are investigating the puzzling death of a woman who was discovered dead in her car that was parked outside Carnivore Restaurant, Nairobi.

Nairobi Deputy Police Boss James Mugera confirmed the Thursday incident.

According to Mugera, when the body of the deceased was discovered in her car whose engine was running it did not have any visible physical injuries.

Witness reports say the car stopped outside the restaurant for a long time with the engine still running, which is unusual, prompting the employees to find out if everything is okay with its occupant.

That is when they discovered the lifeless body of the 41-year-old woman now identified as Victoria Nyambura Kamwaro.

The body of the deceased was moved to a city mortuary where a postmortem will be carried out to ascertain the cause of her death.
