Four people aged between 24 and 27 have perished in a grisly road accident at Maili Tisa along the Namanga-Kajiado highway.

The Kajiado Central police boss, Joseph Mutira has confirmed the incident.

According to Mutira, the vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser V8, the four were travelling in rammed into a trailer.

Mutira has also revealed that the four who died were members of the same family.

One other person was also injured in the accident and was rushed to a hospital in Namanga where they are receiving treatment.

The bodies of the deceased were moved to the Kajiado Referral Hospital mortuary.

Mutira cautioned motorists to exercise caution on the roads.
