President Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived at the coastal city of Mombasa where he will preside over the official opening of Health Workforce Conference, 2022.
He was received at a Mombasa Hotel on Monday by various leaders, including the Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe, members of the county administration, among others.
The three-day conference is aimed at providing stakeholders with the opportunity to harmonise the curriculum and training of healthcare professionals in Kenya.
This is in support of the Universal Health Cover, which is also a pillar of the Government’s Big Four Agenda.
