A 55-year-old man died from a suspected case of popular sex enhancement drug; viagra overdose at lodging in Ndhiwa, Homa Bay County on Friday night.

The man collapsed and died while having a good time with a 25-year-old woman.

Ndhiwa Sub-county police commander Paul Rioba confirmed the incident.

Rioba said the deceased booked a room in the lodging before the woman joined him later that night.

According to the woman's statement, the two individuals had sex and minutes later, the man developed complications before collapsing and dying.

The woman later went to the lodging management desk to report the incident after the man collapsed and died.

The management alerted Ndiwa Police Station about the incident and officers from the station arrived at the scene.

The woman confessed that indeed they had sexual intercourse before the man collapsed and died.

Rioba said the police suspect the man died from an overdose of viagra.

Police took the woman into custody at Ndhiwa Police Station for further questioning over the case.

The body of the deceased was moved to Manyatta Kobodo mortuary pending an autopsy.
