A terror suspect who was on Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) watchlist has surrendered to Nyeri Police Station.

Robert Gathongo Nginjiri aka Abdurahman Hija gave himself up at the police station accompanied by members of his ‘nyumba kumi’ cell.

Robert was among the eight terror suspects recently identified by the (DCI) as Al Shabaan operatives sent on a mission in Kenya.

The terror suspect who hails from Nyeri is believed to have crossed into the neighbouring country Somalia where he was involved in the infamous terror cell activities before returning to Kenya in 2016.
