The ODM leader Raila Odinga will officially launch several water projects in Taita Taveta during his tour to the region on Friday.

Raila is expected to arrive in Taita Taveta at around 11:00 am and will be received by local leaders led by the area governor Granton Samboja.

The ODM leader will be on a one-day tour of Taita Taveta County.

During his tour in the county, Raila will officially launch local government and national government water projects in Maktau and Overseer.

The two areas have experienced perennial shortage of water supply for the past so many years.

He will also address public barazas during his tour.n

Raila’s itinerary includes two rallies in Mwatate and Overseer towns where he is expected to preach his ‘Azimio la Umoja” gospel.
