This comes after a team of government officials from various agencies held a meeting on Monday with the residents of Mukuru kwa Njenga to resolve the matter.

According to PS Ministry of Interior Karanja Kibicho, the affected individuals will be resettled within the next 30 days as the government is working towards restoring normalcy in the area.

"Those affected by the regrettable incident of December 25th will be settled within the next 30 days as we work towards restoring normalcy and peaceful coexistence among Mukuru residents and property owners," Kibicho said.
