Police officers in Kisii County are holding a suspect who stormed Suneka Police Station report office desk donning the jacket of a Military Police Sergeant.

The 27-year-old suspect identified as George Onderi arrived at the station at around 9 pm on Monday in his Toyota Belta car, parked it and proceeded to the station building caused chaos.

Onderi dragged out constable Mary Maina from her post alleging she was wearing a pair of police uniforms that had the wrong jungle print.

Apparently, Mary was the police officer on duty at the report office desk when Onderi stormed into the station.

Pulling officer Mary from her duty post violently prompted the immediate intervention by her colleague.

Deputy OCS Suneka, IP Cephas Ombija, has said Onderi is being held at the station as DCI officers continue with their investigations to establish any connections to acts of criminality.

The Military Imposter Onderi is reported to have also declined efforts to identify himself before the Deputy OCS

He will be arraigned in court for charges of Impersonation and Creating a disturbance.

National Police Service has cautioned the public against imposters who are out to advance acts of fraud and other forms of criminality.

NPS has urged the public to seek services from designated security installations and to report to authorities any suspected imposter.
