Embu County has sent 33 MCAs to Arusha Tanzania, to learn good manners and how to win voters' trust.

The Sh20 million trip will see the MCAs pocketing Sh520,576 within two weeks that they will be undergoing training.

It is alleged that the Members of the County Assembly decided to embark on a training after the County Assembly sittings were adjourned  from December 1, 2021, to February 8, 2022.

The MCAs were accompanied by the Speaker of the County Assembly, Clerk, and some Staff members.

Embu senator Njeru Ndwiga has slammed the trip as a waste of public resources.

Here is what Kenyans had to say about the trip.

The training will take place at East and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI).
