Kericho County detectives are hunting down three men who violently robbed a 21-year-old lady in a PSV vehicle as she was travelling back home.

According to the report from police officers, the incident is said to have happened at 9 pm a few minutes after the victim boarded a 7-seater black Toyota Wish at a stage opposite Kipchimatt Supermarket.

The lady is said to have found three males in the car, a driver and two others who she thought were passengers, just like her.

They grabbed her by the neck, ordering her to surrender her smartphone and all the money she had.

After complying with the thugs, the victim is said to have been thrown out of the speeding vehicle at Duka Moja area.

A good Samaritan who found her in agonizing pain administered first aid to her thereafter reported the incident to the police.

The registration number of the vehicle was not captured.

DCI is urging members of the public to report any information relating to the incident.
