The Principal Secretary Ministry of Health Susan Mochache received the drugs on Monday from Universal Corporation Limited.

TLD ARVs are effective, easier to administer and have minimal side effects on their consumers.

The donation has boosted the government’s efforts to ensure people living with HIV/AIDS have access to treatment.

The entire world will celebrate World AIDS Day on December 1.

This year’s theme is; ‘End inequalities. End AIDS'. It highlights the need to end inequalities that drive AIDS and other pandemics around the world.

UNAIDS said without bold action against inequalities, the work risks missing its targets, which include ending AIDS by 2030.
