ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has taken a swipe at One Kenya Alliance (OKA) over the ongoing rumours of differences between the co-principals.

Sifuna in a discussion with a local Television said politics is about numbers and the ability to put a presidential campaign that can attract huge followers.

The SG said some principals within the OKA movement accused ODM of dishonesty but at the moment they are ironically accusing each other in the absence of ODM.

Sifuna slammed ANC for accusing KANU of being dishonest in the coalition and cited lack of leadership within the party.

Sifuna termed the Ford-Kenya party as a junior partner within OKA, saying the party has less popularity countrywide.

His sentiments come barely days after MPs allied to ANC dared the coalition to name its presidential flag-bearer before 25th December.

The legislators led by Kakamega County Senator Cleophas Malala said Kenyans are ambitious to know who is going to lead the four principals as the 2022 campaigns intensify.

However, the Kakamega senator has come under public criticism for calling KANU leader Gideon Moi a weak link in the One Kenya Alliance (OKA).

According to Malala, Moi has been working on the alliance link with ODM Leader Raila Odinga, adding that it is now time for the KANU chair to decide whether he is with them or with the former premier.

The senator said OKA is looking forward to forming the next government and has no plans to support Raila Odinga.
