The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced the fuel pump prices for the period between November 15, 2021, and December 14, 2021.

Kenyans still have some relief as the prices of Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene remain unchanged in the period under review by EPRA.

The prices are inclusive of the 8% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2018, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.

This happens even with an increase in the average landing cost of imported petroleum products.

The average landed cost of imported Super Petrol increased by 8.66% from US$ 557.74 per cubic metre in September 2021 to US$ 606.06 per cubic metre in October 2021; Diesel increased by 11.17% from US$ 504.68 per cubic metre to US$ 561.06 per cubic metre while Kerosene increased by 9.27% from US$ 477.75per cubic metre to US$ 522.06 per cubic metre.

According to EPRA’s announcement made on Sunday the price of Super Petrol remains Sh129.27 per litre, Diesel Sh110.60per litre and Kerosene Sh103.58 per litre for residents in Nairobi.

Mombasa residents will still buy Super Petrol at Sh127.46 per litre, Diesel will retail at Sh108.36 while Kerosene will retail at Sh101.29

Fuel pump prices for Super Petrol will remain Sh130.12, Diesel will stand at Sh111.30 and Kerosene will also remain Sh104.26 in Kisumu.
