A man believed to have stabbed his wife to death in Machakos County after finding her in a compromising situation with another man has surrendered himself to the police.

28-year-old Andrew Mutiso Musau allegedly stabbed his wife six times on Thursday night, after finding his wife with a mother man in a compromising situation in his own house.

According to sources privy to the incident, Mutiso and his wife were engaged in a heated scuffle on that fateful night after the discovery.

Police launched a manhunt for Mutiso on Saturday after concerned members of the ‘Nyumba Kumi’ cell they are in discovered his wife’s body, two days after she went missing.

The concerned members of the public alerted the police of the body after the discovery of the gross scene.

Apparently, Mutiso had also fled after the Thursday incident only to resurface on Sunday afternoon at the Athi River Police station flanked by his two brothers.

Kitengela based crime scene detectives arrived at the scene and processed it before the body of the deceased was moved to a local hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Mutiso is currently being processed as police are still conducting further investigations into the murder before being arraigned in court on Monday to answer to murder charges.
