Motorists plying Magadi Road are stuck on traffic as the holiday comes to a close.
It is not clear what is causing the gridlock but seems the city residents are struggling to get back to the city.

Motorists headed towards Nairobi or headed towards Kiserian are advised to try alternative routes as the gridlock may not end anytime soon.
