ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga on Friday received branded vehicles from Homeboyz Entertainment and Mombasa-based businessman Bernard Waore in support of his 2022 presidential campaign.

Speaking at Chungwa House in Nairobi after receiving the campaign vehicles, Raila urged Kenyans to continue adhering to Covid-19 containment measures put by the government to tame the virus.

He noted that the youth feel disenfranchised and disenchanted due to unemployment and mechanisms must be found to create jobs and other opportunities for them to feel part of the nation building.

Raila called on everyone involved in the election campaigns, including members of the public, to take necessary precautions to avoid contracting the virus, with next year’s poll coming during a pandemic.

Homeboys Entertainment Director Mike Rabar said the donated vehicles were fully fitted with state-of-the-art sound systems and will boost audibility of Raila’s campaign as the electioneering period starts.

During the event, Raila also received 3,000 face masks, hand sanitizers and protective gowns from businessman Dr Samuel Oliech Omolo from Biopharm Technologies to be used by ODM in its campaign.
