Traffic flow on the busy Outering Road was disrupted on Wednesday morning by boda boda operators.

The boda boda operators were protesting over the arrest of their colleagues at the Naivas Ruaraka Bridge.

They blocked the road near the Baba Dogo junction and lit bonfires in the middle of the road, causing a heavy snarl-up.

Cases of vehicle stoning by the protestors have been reported.

Motorists are advised to avoid using Outering Road at all costs and use alternative routes.

Members of the public have raised concern over the unruly behaviour of the boda boda operators across the country.

Most people have blamed the authorities for failing to take necessary action against the boda boda operators and put measures to curb what they refer to as the boda boda menace.
