Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has drummed up support of Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga.

She was speaking at Orange House during an event where ODM party leader Raila Odinga received several defectors and returnees to his party.

Passaris said Kenyans should embrace each other in love because hatred does not come from God.

She warded against divisive politics, which she said occasioned the post-election violence where many people lost their lives, properties were lost and women were raped.

She praised the move by President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga, which brought unity and peace to the country through their handshake.

The women rep. also intimated that the BBI had many advantages and also said it has to be revisited not just for the benefit of a few but the entire country.

Passaris emphasized the ODM party is not a tribal outfit but a family that embraces everyone with love.

She said the love she has received from the ODM family is overwhelming.

The women rep. welcomed the people of Mount Kenya to ODM, saying it feels better to be loved by people outside your family.

She jested that the ODM family, which is predominantly Luo knows how to love. She reiterated that the people from the Luo community know how to love.

She continued that women from the Mount Kenya region know where to go if they wanted love.

“So what I want, is when you come as the mountain to ODM, love the family of ODM. And the family of ODM let me tell you Luos know how to love. Whenever most Kikuyus want love, they usually know where to go,” she said.

“So what I want to tell you is that if you come to ODM, you will get genuine love.”

She urged the people to participate in the ongoing ODM member registration drive and pray for their leader.
