Traffic in the area was disrupted for the better part of Wednesday morning as the demonstrators barricaded the road and lit bonfires to protest the night demolitions.

Traders counted huge losses after the demolitions meant to remove kiosks that have encroached the Northern Bypass amid claims that

traders were not notified of the move.
