Residents of Kitui were treated to a bizarre incident that left many in utter shock.
This happened after a number of domestic animals streamed into a hospital where their owner had been admitted.
It must have been shocking to witness the scene that seems to have been plucked off right from the middle of a fiction book when the goats and chicken went straight to the bed where their owner was lying.

The goats surrounded the bed while the chicken jumped on top of the bed as though they were exchanging pleasantries with their owner just as any visiting human being would do.

People who witnessed the unbelievable event unfold could not help but either wonder or speculate as they tried to find answers to their questions.
Of course, a section of the people who saw what happened insinuated that the incident somehow resulted from supernatural phenomena but chiefly witchcraft.
“This is the first time we are witnessing such a thing in the whole of Kitui region. How can goats and hens visit the hospital to spend time with their owner? We suspect that this is witchcraft paraphernalia,” said a resident.
Another member from the region also said the animals had gone to deliver a message to their owner and give her a ‘situation report’ of her home.
He also added that perhaps, the animals had just missed their owner and wanted to show their support for her especially in her time of need.

“These animals might have come to deliver important information to their guardian who had been away from them for a while. Perhaps they just missed her and wanted to show care by paying a physical visit to her,” he said.
The incident exhibits the possibility of humans forming strong bonds with humans that break the barriers of distance, communication or nature.
