Door-to-door campaign is one of the many ways a political aspirant can use to reach their voters regardless of their budget limits.

This is because it is possible for one to canvass neighbourhoods easily and use less cash to talk to their possible electors one-on-one.

And well, there are several goals that come with door-knocking.

A Kenyan politician identified as Kiigen Koech has opted for the method but seems netizens are not okay with the idea.

Taking to his Twitter page, Koech shared a photo of him posing with a caucasian woman and revealed that he had chosen a door-to-door campaign as his fresh strategy.

“Door to door is my campaign strategy!” he wrote.

However, his father identified as Davy K Koech came out rebuking him, telling him that’s not a campaign strategy and that he should keep off.

In the photo, Koech and the woman were in cute smiles inside a house while taking the selfie.

According to his father, if that was his new method of winning more souls to vote for him, then it wasn’t a must.

“These are the reasons I tell you to keep off! Shenzi! That’s not a campaign strategy! Sio lazima,” Davy wrote.

While defending himself, Koech told his dad that he was at a party and when the woman popped he asked for a selfie only.

He pleaded with netizens and his father not to get it twisted owing to the fact that others had speculations that they are dating.

“Dad, nilikuwa kwa party tukachapa selfie. Please. Don’t get it twisted Baba,” he said.
