Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper Party announced it has already started the process of exiting the National Super Alliance (NASA).

Wiper’s National Executive Committee uniformly decided to leave the NASA coalition.

Kalonzo said on Monday that his party is ready to enter One Kenya Party (OKA).

“We have unanimously agreed to exit Nasa and form a bigger coalition, OKA. We are killing Nasa but not killing other parties like ODM. We want to work with ODM, Jubilee and other parties. We welcome other parties because we in OKA will form the next government,” he said.

He intimated NASA parties agreed on the best formula to share the political parties funding among them.

Amani National Congress and Ford-Kenya principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula put Kalonzo in charge of the talks to negotiate for their share of the political parties funding on their behalf

Kalonzo welcomed ODM to join OKA and become part of an inclusive coalition.

“While exiting NASA we welcome ODM to join OKA for a more inclusive coalition as we prepare to form the next Government. Jubilee continues as our cooperation partner,” he said.

Kalonzo also said in the event that ODM joins OKA, they will negotiate on the presidential flag bearer but ODM must first satisfy the affiliate parties with what they bring to the table.

"If ODM joins OKA, they will negotiate on OKA presidential flag bearer but they have to convince OKA that they have better ideas," Kalonzo said.

The three former NASA principals jumped ship and declared their former coalition dead. They are now geared towards forming a new coalition with Gideon Moi’s KANU and other parties that may want to join them.
