Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua has sensationally invited President Uhuru Kenyatta to join his Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) political party.
Dr Mutua says by Uhuru opening 5 new hospitals in various parts of Nairobi on Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, he was practicing MCC principals of a 24-hour economy.
The Machakos governor lauded the move by the Head of State, urging him to push for a 24-hour economy to spur the Kenyan economy and create job.

He said this was especially important as Kenyans grapple with the adverse effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and resultant job losses.
Speaking on Wednesday, he congratulated Uhuru for taking advantage of the night to adhere to Covid-19 containment measures in his working night trips.
