The police office whose lover fell from a balcony in Ngumba Estate, Nairobi under unclear circumstances has surrendered himself to the authorities after fleeing following that incident.

The Nairobi based cop surrendered himself to the police station on the night of July 4, 2021.

The suspect, Kelvin Amwayi Yakhama had been in hiding after the July 3, 2021 incident in which an argument ended in the tragic death of his girlfriend Jackline Muthoni.

Reports indicate that Kelvin and Jackline had a heated argument in their apartment that is on the 4th floor of that building.

With the surrender of Kelvin, the police are hoping to find out exactly what happened that culminated into Jackline falling off the balcony and landing on a vehicle that was parked below.

Unfortunately, Jackline succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at Kenyatta National Hospital where she was rushed for treatment.

After the unfortunate incident, Kelvin fled the scene before the police arrived to process the scene.

Upon processing the scene of crime, the crime scene personnel retrieved a notebook that had Kelvin’s Identity number.
