The man involved in the Thika super highway shooting incident this afternoon has succumbed to his injuries.

According to Samson Kiptum, the Kiambu County boss, he died while receiving treatment at the Thika Level 5 Hospital.

Reports by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives show that a gang of 3 thugs on a motorbike were the perpetrators of the heinous crime.

Witnesses described incident as precise and intended, carried out by experienced persons that can only match scenes from movies.

Police are yet to make any arrest in connection to the chilling incident.
