The Member of County Assembly for Nguu/Masumba ward Harrison Ngui has died in a grisly road accident.

The accident occurred at Salama in Makueni County along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.

His vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a track totalling his vehicle and he is said to have sustained fatal injuries. 

He was the Makueni County Deputy Majority Leader MCA. He also chaired 3 County Assembly Committees.

His death was confirmed by Makueni Speaker Douglas Mbilu who said that a traffic officer from Kilome informed him about the accident.

The Makueni Speaker condoled with the family and mourned Ngui as a peaceful individual who preached peace across different affiliations.
