Former Kibwezi Member of Parliament Kalembe Ndile will be laid to rest on Friday, June 11 at his home in Mbui Nzau in Makueni County.

This was announced by Mavoko MP Patrick Makau after he attended a meeting to plan for the funeral of the former Assistant Minister in President Mwai Kibaki’s government.

The funeral planners have been meeting at Ndile’s Mbui Nzau rural home as well as his Greepark Estate house in Machakos County from Monday.

“We should contribute generously to give our leader who was brave a befitting burial,” said Makau.

Among those present at the meeting included the former MP’s kin, Kibwezi West MP Patrick Musimba and Makueni Woman Representative Rose Museo.
