Kenya on Friday recorded six more deaths from covid-19 raising the country’s fatalities from the virus to 1,813 in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health, there were 226 new confirmed Coronavirus infections recorded during the same period after 4,606 samples were tested.
A statement issued by MOH on Friday indicated the national caseload also shot up to 103,84 as the total number of samples tested since the first case was recorded hitting 1,258,624.
The ministry said 165 of the new Covid-19 patients are Kenyans while 61 are foreigners, with 132 being males and 94 females.
At the same time, 75 new recoveries were reported on Friday and this increased the total national recoveries to 85,512.
