Grammy Award winning RnB singer Ashanti Douglas tested positive for Coronavirus after her recent trip to Nairobi.
Ashanti revealed her Covid status on her social media pages, expressing her disappointment that she got the virus which has put her Verzuz session with Keyshia Cole on the line.

“Yes, I’ve been travelling. Yes, I was in Nairobi and I had an amazing time. And no, I did not get Covid from travelling. I did not get covid from being in Africa or anything like that,” she clarified.
She added, “I actually got it from a family member when I came home. So, I hugged a family member that ended up being positive.”
